Last 2 weeks, me, Yaya and Leen decided to go Putrajaya
Wetland Park to explore the nature that have it in Wetland Park. I’ve been
known that Putrajaya wetland is divided into 2 components- Taman Wetland Putrajaya
and Lake Recreational Centre. Taman Wetland Putrajaya is very much the public
face of the wetlands and serves as a gateway to Putrajaya Wetlands while the
Lake Recreational Centre serves as a water recreational spot. So, this is gateway to Putrajaya Wetlands and
I will give some information about this place.
Putrajaya Wetlands in Putrajaya, Malaysia is accepted to
be the biggest built freshwater wetlands
in the tropics. It is the first man-made wetland in Malaysia, which
incorporates a Wetland Park (138
hectares) and the wetland regions
(1977 hectares). The wetland now is additionally a natural life asylum
which draws in an enormous assortment of creatures to the consolidated physical
sea-going nature’s turf.
First place that we go to is information center to know more about
wetland and the interesting things is they provide the tram ride and bicycle
for rent. It’s easier to people go with the tram ride because they have tour
guide to give more information about that place and mostly people that bring
family they will used it tram ride. For bicycle, mostly teenagers love to used
it to explored by itself

the price for tram ride and things that we can DO & DON'T for people who rent bicycle

Then we decided that we just walked for one place to
another place. So, second place that we go is Nature Trail that continue our
adventure by following the Nature Trail. We will definitely feel relaxed and
closer to nature. We come across a variety of flora species such as pulai (Alstonia angustifolio), gapis
(Saraca indica) and kasai (Pomela
pinnata). On the way we walk to wetland cell, we saw cross your path.

WETLAND
CELL
Wetland
Putrajaya plays an important role in preserving the ecosystem of Putrajaya.
Throughout this area, you will find marsh plants such as giant bulrush (Scirpus
grossus) and common reed (Phagmites karka) filling up the wetland cells. It
acts as a natural filter for river water from Sungai Chuau and Sungai Bisa
before entering the Putrajaya Lake. This wetland cell is nearby nature interpretive centre
FLAMINGO
POND & SWAN LAKE
For
animal lovers, this is the ideal place to them review because there is a platform that which puts many species of birds
such as pelicans, white bird, white swans, Egyptian geese and herons. There is
also a flamingo pond located between Wetland Park and Lake Recreation Centre. Come and let’s take a peek at
the beautiful flamingoes and mandarin ducks at the scenic Flamingo Pond
The Chinese
believed that by placing mandarin duck feather under their pillow, a couple
will live happily together for a long time
Seriously, that time I was really tired. But when I saw a
flamingo duck, it makes me feel so excited because this is first time I seen it with
my own eyes. Usually I just seen it on television but in here I can see it
clearly. After that, we go to last place in Wetland Park.
THE LOOKOUT TOWER
Last place is the
Lookout Tower. The highest point in Putrajaya Wetland. Standing at 80-metres
tall, we’re mesmerized by the beauty of the wetland area as the habitat for
various flora and fauna species. Among the plants you will find here are tembusu
(Fragraea fragran), mahang merah (Macaranga sp.) and wild mangosteen (Garcinia
subelliptica).
I took this pictures before we're arrived here.

But unfortunately we can’t go to lookout tower and lake recreation centre because of heavy raining. Seriously, I feel so sad because I didn’t get to see the beauty of the wetland and play paddle boat.Maybe it’s not our rezeki but I will come back to see the beauty of wetland and
do some activities at here, In sha allah. so that’s all I want to share with
you guys .
